Our Thoughts
The Amstaff Bumper Plates from Fitness Avenue are quite underwhelming. The overal quality feels cheap and 'thrown togther'. The rubber has cracks all through it and doesn't fit tightly around the center hub. On top of that, a few of our bumper plates from Fitness Avenue were 3 lbs under the stated 45 lbs. Pre-Pandemic, these bumper plates might have been an okay option considering the price they were going for. However, the demand on fitness equipment drove the price of these bumpers to over $2.70 / LBS (at the time of this post).
If you get these bumper plates for a good deal, they will likely get the job done. Just dont expect anything fancy!
